We are looking for a highly experienced Data Visualization Engineer to join our ongoing project. We work exclusively with open-source tools and libraries. Our data is stored primarily in Elasticsearch, with some relational data in MySQL. We primarily use NVD3 for charts, though some tasks may require direct use of D3. We primarily use jVectorMap for maps, and may use other open-source libraries as needed, such as Flot, Morris, and jQuery Sparklines. Our portal applications are primarily written in PHP using a minimal MVC framework.Desired Profile :
The successful candidate will be able to understand our NoSQL and SQL data structures, write their own Elasticsearch and MySQL queries, manipulate query results in PHP to obtain the desired data sets for visualizations, and present the data in our portal applications using the aforementioned visualization tools. You should also be able to complete related ETL tasks when required. You must have strong written and spoken English skills for remote collaboration, UI elements and documentation. Minimum Experience: - 2 years with D3 and related tools - 1 full year working with Elasticsearch - 2 years of NoSQL - 2 year of PHPExperience Required :
