Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities: As an Engineer in the DSP domain, Your primary task is to pick up expertise in various tools in software development while developing software programs. Your other major responsibilities would include the following:- Requirements gathering. Creating prototypes. Specifying functionality and integrating systems. Designing and coding which also includes getting the coding reviewed. Carry out feature enhancements and bug fixes. Writing internal specifications (design specs and test plans) and user documentation. Interaction with the customer to understand business problems and requirements and articulate how solutions can be structured to address them. Detailed documentation related to design and bug-fixing. Participating in a multidisciplinary team environment and abide by the team guidelines. Follow and contribute to Quality Processes. Any other task as allotted from time to time. Skills and Job Requirements: An ideal candidate should have experience in Porting and Optimization of speech/audio/video codecs on ADI Blackfin/Renesas/ARM9/ARM11/TI DSP/NEC processors. Excellent C/C++/Assembly skills required. Deep understanding of Audio/Video/Speech codec algorithms (MPEG/ITU/GSM) with API development experience. In addition to the description given above, the candidate should be self-motivated and capable of handling the requirements independently. Should have good analytical and problem solving skills and should be a great team member.
