NextBillion is a social enterprise that creates rural data platforms & insights in high growth emerging markets. Our clients are FMCG Multinational Corporations with key stakes across markets like India. We accomplish our objectives by partnering with kirana stores and providing shop owners with NextBillion platforms to capture their inventory and sales. We are seeking an individual to help us accomplish our objecting by helping to lay the groundwork on which the NextBillion platform can be developed. Previous relevant experience is not required. However, we are looking for a positive and active individual with a can-do demeanor, who is comfortable with a certain level of ambiguity. Core Responsibilities Data Collection: - We will provide you with an Android smartphone app to collect information about local communities. - You will use this application to answer surveys each day about local businesses - Information will be transferred to our team via Internet. - Additional surveys and tasks may be assigned as needed

Desired Profile :

Work 5 days / week during 8AM – 6PM Own motorbike and Android smartphone Comfort working and traveling independently each day. Familiarity and comfort with using Android smartphones Fluency in Bangla is required, along with strong verbal communication Good understanding of rural West Bengal is a plus .
