Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Should be able to lead a team of 10+, win the confidence of the team, and provide Technical, executional and process guidance . Responsible for delivery of goals and objectives, including project initiation and completion, of technical area by directing activities of others as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities. Assist Operational and Functional leaders in building QC strategy. Evaluation, design, update and implementation of core QA/testing solutions. Serves as technical expert on assigned area�s of products, domain, including code, interfaces and scripts, test cases Ability to allocate resources effectively while doing load balancing for optimal resource Utilization Responsible for Staffing needs of the business Identify necessary technical and behavioral trainings on need basis/ periodically update the operational leadership, and provide timely feedback to the management Adehere to global processes and continue to drive process and performance improvements of the artifacts that are delivered Proactively identify the HW and SW requirements and input the procurement in timely manner identify opportunities of constant improvement in people, Process and technology / products. X-functional team coordination as and when needed, effective cross border communication, periodic updates on Execution milestones. Ability to align the team : execution focused, motivate, energize and integrate with global and cross functional teams, with imagination and Courage. Ability to understand and add value to the global Initiatives like QC2QA and others Qualifications/Requirements:BE/BTECH/MCA/MS IT/ BS/MS Degree in Computer Science/Electrical or Electronics and Communication. 8-10 years of software experience preferably in Quality. A birds eye view of Micro Soft technologies and platforms is necessary. At least 2+ years of leading small teams with an ability to lead large teams to project completion. Effective leadership, project management, and prioritization skills, including ability to identify and assess risk and mitigation plans Knowledge in SW engineering processes (SDLC, CMM, SEPG etc...) Experience leading and executing through virtual teams. Proven ability to execute in a highly matrixed organization. Internal/external customer passion. Experience in Quality Tools with practical experience in driving testing automation strategies. Experience in procurement management Exceptional communication and multi-tasking talents. Self-directed and motivated with a confident executive presence, passionate learner, with clear thinking and focus
