Responsibilities : Manage 8-12 person DSP software engineering teamto deliver audio decoders and encoders (e.g., MPEG, Dolby, Microsoft, and DTS) to customers and internal teams for applications in consumer, automotive, GP, networked/portable, and other markets where audio codecs play a role. Coordinate with engineering managers, customers, business managers as needed to validate software specification requirements. Provide platform example code relevant to target applications. Maintain roadmap/catalog of software developed within team including availability, status, technical specs and benchmarks. Conform to software development style/conventions established by engineering management.Desired Profile :
Knowledge and Skills : MS in CS, EE or equivalent audio engineering experience 10+ years experience in software development and software life cycle process and best practices 4+ years managing technical teams Experience in real-time audio DSP and audio standards highly desirable Successful history of building and leading, software development teams Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear, concise manner to a variety of audiences Experience : 10 - 12 years Location : HyderabadExperience Required :
