Position: Manager - Finance I am searching for a Manager � Finance for a leading company in diesel engines. My client is a leading company of India, involved in the manufacture of low emission diesel engines. Position Name : Manager- Excise and Import Reporting to: Divisional Manager-Finance Qualification: Chartered Accountant Preferred Institute: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Experience( Min and Max ): 1-2 years post qualification experience Preferred Industry : Manufacturing Key Performance Area Activities Competencies Excise and Service Tax � Maintaining excise records � Maintaining service tax records and register � Accounting of excise credit and utilisation � Reconciliation of accounts and register � Accounting and reconciliation of service tax credit � Filing of monthly returns � Handling excise audit and other audits � Handling show cause notices and legal issues � Compliance with laws � Basic knowledge of excise Acts and Rules � Basic knowledge of service tax � Man management skill � Good Interpersonal skill � Can do attitude � Patient � Ability to draft ( including legal drafts ) � Updation with latest � Ability to meet target Import and export � Import payments � Import accounting and provisioning � Reconciliation with suppliers � Compliance with RBI and import regulations � Strong accounting knowledge � Basic knowledge of import and export regulations � Basic knowledge of forex, LC operation � Follow up skill Payroll and employee tax � Ensure correct and timely process of payroll � Ensure correct deduction of tax at source � Knowledge of personal taxation � On time delivery � Man management skill � Maintain confidentiality � Good Interpersonal skill General ( Desirable ) � US GAAP � MIS � SOX � Basic knowledge of internal control � Working knowledge of US GAAP Now if you think that you fit these specs please just: Compose an email to [email protected] and then type �Manager - Finance� in the subject of the email. 1.
