Job Description :

Handle account payables ? Opex and Capex. Identifying areas of Cost savings / reduction on an continuous basis and implementing thereof. Ensuring correct and timely payouts to the vendors and their accounts reconcilliations. Fixed Assets. Accounting for capital assets accurately and timely and thereby ensuring correct depreciation. Conducting physical verification of assets and reconciling the book difference and physical records. Channel Payouts Streamlining the process of channel payouts to prepaid and postpaid channels. Initiated to set up a channel payout monthly calendar and strictly adhering to the payout timelines. Ongoing reconciliation of the channel partners to avoid any overdue payments and friction. Revenue and Collections Accounting. Ensure correct and accurate revenue accounting for Postpaid, Prepaid, VAS, IUC and Roaming stream of business. Ensure timely collection accounting duly reconciled with the retail debtors. Statutory Audit / Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance Monthly hard closure of accounts for the purpose of preparing monthly Final Accounts. Independently co-coordinating with statutory and internal auditors for various issues and timely closure of audit milestones. Ensure timely compliance of various reports to be sent to the corporate office. Helped to improve the scores of the circle for reporting compliance. Statutory Liabilities and compliance Ensure timely payments of statutory liabilities viz Service Tax, Sales Tax, TDS etc and filing the returns thereof within the prescribed timelines. Ensure the assessments are done within the normal time frame .

Desired Profile :

CA with 7 to 9 years of experience in a telecom service provider company and having experience of Payables ? Opex and Capex, Fixed Assets, Channel Payouts, Revenue and Collections Accounting, Statutory Audit / Internal Audit and Corporate Compliance, Statutory Liabilities and compliance (viz. Service Tax, Sales Tax and TDS).
