Sustains thorough and up-to-date understanding of lifecycle and logic of J2EE based systems. Serves as a primary technical resource to other departments for Web-related questions and advises on Web problems for multiple platform levels. Able to participate in a 24/7 on call rotation Able to create complex, high performing, multi tiered web systems Able to multitask and manage multiple complex projects Originates new concepts and is recognized as a technical and creative leader. Develops high-tech solutions for increasing system performance and quality. Uses independent judgment in situations that impact own work or immediate work group. Serves as a resource for others in the work group or other departments. Defines task, resources, and time required to complete a medium to large size project that often involves cross-organizational work groups.

Desired Profile :

Possesses a broad knowledge of work procedures and the online industry. Able to participate in a 24/7 on call rotation Intermediate knowledge of one or more Web programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, Java, or PERL. Specific knowledge of an operating environment such as UNIX or Linux. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Web servers such as AOL Server, Apache, and Netscape Enterprise Server. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Application servers and servlet engines such as Tomcat and BEA Weblogic. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; uses communication skills effectively to present opinions. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and the ability to use VI editor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Weblogic 8.x experience Background in Java software development
