Finance technology is responsible for supporting and further developing the single General Ledger architecture, which delivers a single platform to Finance covering all of their business requirements. SGL consists of 6 Key components; Trade Data Warehouse(TDW), OST(Business rule), manual Adjustments (MADJ), Oracle GL, Finance Data Mart(FDM) and Oracle Reporting environment (Oracle Reports and Discoverer). The role is to act as Technical Lead/ Project Manage for the working projects and resources in IDC. Specifically, this will include * Line Manager responsibilities. * Managing full development life cycle. * Contribute to overall strategy for Finance Technology. * This role reports to the Head of Finance Technology.

Desired Profile :

* A qualification from an Engineering college, MCA(honours/ 1st class). Business Knowledge : * Proven track record of development and design work in the IT industry knowledge of financial products traded by GBM. * 2+years Knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and control. * Previously successfully managed projects end to end, i.e. from initiation/analysis through to delivery and managed minimum of 4-6 people. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE * 5+years technical development experience Data Warehousing - Large databases(1Tb +) RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase) MS Projects, EXCEL, Visual Studio. C#,.ASP * Experience of working in a Financial control production environment Wintel and UNIX operating systems. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES : * Innovative - able to take a broader view. * Able to interface with all levels of people within GBM Finance. * Self driven, work well both individually or in a team delivery focused. * Excellent communication skills * Organised and methodical approach.
