Job Description :

Interfacing directly with Clients Technical Client Managers (TCM) and customer applications development teams to implement the appropriate database technologies and methodologies. Capacity planning, performance tuning and benchmarking of customer�s databases. Working closely with UNIX engineers, Windows engineers, Sales Staff and Business Solutions Managers to improve customer satisfaction. Maintaining and supporting internal and customer databases in a 24X7 production environment. Responding to customer related RDBMS maintenance requests, problems and inquiries. Installing, configuring and maintaining database software, patches, upgrades and utilities. Working with TCMs to define database layout, replication, storage management and backup and restore design requirements.
