Own one or more major releases from inception through release Run weekly project meetings and facilitate development sub-team meetings Communicate the release’s progress and potential problems to key stakeholders Work with team leads and product managers to ensure that a release adheres to its schedule while sustaining its business value Assist in reallocating resources among teams to meet changing development needs Mentor software engineering leads, product and QA analysts, and other department staff on creating sound project schedules Facilitate team collaboration and communication" Exceptional consulting and client management skills, including program management organization, presentations, project planning, managing expectations. Minimum 2+ years of Project Management experience on full life-cycle development projects Experience managing medium / large teams (preferably 20+ people). Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with associated deadlines. Ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through with timely execution. Demonstrated strong decision-making skills, with the ability to consider a broad range of internal/external factors when problem solving and rendering decisions. Proven ability to resolve conflict Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project a plus . PMI, ISO, CMM and/or Six-Sigma certifications or experience a plus Effective planning, risk management, and resource control Clearly written, accurate requirements gathering Candidate must be able to assess a variety of situations quickly and work collaboratively to determine the most beneficial resolution for all parties involved." Should have extensively used CASE tools, MS Project or any other project management tools.Exposure to SDLC, good knowledge on Requirements Analysis, Project Planning and Management, Configuration Management, Defect Management and Release Management is a must.
