Roles and Responsibilities At Wipro Technologies you would be responsible for: To support Application development and Maintenance activities of complex mainframe application. Person should have excellent analytical and communication skills and Strong exposure to DB2/CICS and Cobol Language. Experience on OPC scheduler, REXX and selcopy will be advantage. Work in big/medium teams and deliver as per agreed upon requirements. Should be able to handle a team of 4-5 members and follow all the quality related process that is in practice in the Project. The key challenges will be to rapidly transition the support by understanding the functionality and the design of the application. Skills and Job Requirements : 1) B.E/BTECH/MCA with a minimum of 2-4 years of software development and Applications Maintenance experience with in-depth technical knowledge and functional experience in industry. 2) Expertise knowledge on COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, ISPF, TSO, Xpeditor, File-Aid and JCL. 3) Excellent oral and written communication skills 4) Customer service orientation and process adherence 5) Ability to learn and implement new technologies/tools 6) Awareness on Software Quality processes.
