My client is currently looking for Developers/Sr.Developers and architects in �Cognos� for their offshore IT operations at Pune and Hyderabad. My client is the offshore center of the flagship operations of a NASDAQ listed U.S. based company and has a turnover of more than Rs 600 crores (of its Indian operations). It has been featured in the 20 most influential outsourcing firms in the U.S. and overseas, according to the "Information week". For these positions the �Relevant� experience band desired is 6 to 10yrs years. The Ideal Candidate is expected to have sound expertise in development in Datawarehousing. Good Communication, Interpersonal and Analytical Skills are naturally also a pre-requisite. The tech specs are as follows: Develop flowcharts or write pseudo code. Coding, peer code reviews. Unit testing as per test plans. Track defects from code reviews and testing. Provide technical support during implementation. Ensure effective usage of project specific tools during coding and testing. Application of KGM to perform technical activities. Provide inputs for development of tools. Develop code for development of tools. Technical Environment COGNOS Tools, Cognos SDK, Cognos Report Net, Cognos Reports, PL/SQL, Pro*C Core Skills/ Specialized Skills The candidate should be well versed with COGNOS reports, and should have worked on PL/SQL, Pro*C
