Job Description :

SKILLS REQUIRED : 10 years minimum combined, database administration, data warehousing and ETL experience for Oracle and Sybase. Install new database servers, including Oracle, Sybase, or MySQL in both clustered and master/slave scenarios. Upgrade existing servers to more recent release date. Work with Development to design operationally sound databases. Work with senior staff members to design and implement database architectures that are easy to maintain and support. Write table creation and data migration scripts. Write stored procedures as needed. As primary owner of one or more sets of application databases, will need to troubleshoot any issues associated with those databases. Work with UNIX System Administrators to define host setup characteristics. Will be expected to resolve straightforward database problems without assistance from co-workers. Responsible for database performance and reliability. Knowledge of enterprise development and testing processes and workflow systems. Strong systems support experience. Knowledge of Networking and Internet Protocols. Excellent English (spoken and written).

Desired Profile :

As Mentioned above. Candidates should have minimum of 3 years experience both in Sybase and Oracle Database Administration. Qualification must be BSc,BE/BTech,BCA,MTech, MSc only.
