Job Description :

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Leader in architecting and driving on core Infrastructure Systems and Storage Global projects. Hands on experience in designing and architecting in Wintel, UNIX (preferably Linux and Solaris) and Storage Platforms. Relevant experience on three or more following technologies i.e. MS-Exchange, Active Directory, External / Internal DNS management,Antivirus Symantec/Trend , Linux ( Red�Hat , Suse ) , Solaris ( 9 , 10 ) , SMS2003 , Misc Wintel technologies. Experience in Infrastructure Solution design. Experience in Global IT Transition Processes like RFP response etc. Follows and deploys core Infrastructure policies, Maintain SLA and defines drives best practice standards. Up skill the existing support team on Server and Network support 4 years Hands-on experience on Windows, Unix Servers and Storage/Backup ( NAS and SAN ,Tape Libraries ) 3 years plus experience in managing mid to large server teams. Excellent vendor and contract management skills. Excellent communication and customer handling skills. Disaster Recover Planning, Implementation, Sustenance for Servers. Driving and following company�s Quality and Metrics standards. Qualifications/ Requirements: BE/Btech/Diploma Certification / Training � MCSE, SCSA, SCNA, Project management training /certification preferable Certified Green Belt in Six Sigma Quality preferable BS7799 Certification preferred.

Desired Profile :

Desired/Preferred Skills: Should have worked in process mature production environments handling 24x7 support Have understanding of ITIL Framework. Project management /Implementation skills (ability to prepare project plan / manage the same as per defined timelines). General: Should be a good leader and a team player with good team management skills. Global experience preferable Excellent , effective and convincing communication skills.
