Job Description :

Responsibilities: Successful candidate will report to Manager in US (Worldwide System Admin Support) and to the Site Manager in India in dual reporting structure. He/She would be responsible for the following: Serve as UNIX System Admin to NAND, ASIC and other Chip design groups and Engineering groups in India Responsible for Data back-up, EDA license installation, Data security, Network etc... Facilitate UNIX infrastructure and Engineering Computing environment in SanDisk India As part of global resource provide System Admin support to US and Israel Engineering groups Work with worldwide team to come up with methodology to improve Engineering Computing and UNIX infrastructure Install and monitor Resource utilization tools, Disk space utilization tools etc... Other tasks which is not mentioned above, but crucial for UNIX Systems and UNIX infrastructure

Desired Profile :

Education Requirement Bachelors Degree in Engineering from a reputed University in India or abroad Masters degree preferred Background in Computer Science is preferred Experience: 8+ years experience in IT Industry as a System Admin or related role Experience in maintaining System/UNIX infrastructure in a Chip Design company Experience in Network Management, Network Security, NFS and Backup Management Experience in installing EDA tools and troubleshooting Experience in providing customer support to multiple geographies/remote Design centers Prior experience in setting up a Chip Design divisions/centers as System Administrator Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills Flexibility to work in "On-call support" environment
