Education and Professional Certifications: MTech / BTech / MCA / MSc. Experience � Min 9+yrs in IT at least 3yrs in Telecom billing development / Implementation. Dimension and Scope: Responsible for leading a multi-organizational design team to identify innovative end-to-end technical solutions in support of winning; implementing; maintaining; and improving delivery of solutions for Company�s Clients. This position is the technical expert member on the Convergys team; consisting of Sales; Solutions Development; and Account Management that jointly prepare and deliver presentations/proposals to the client or prospective client. Must be able to analyze the business problems or opportunities and understand Convergys technology capabilities in order to design and define the best business solution that Convergys can offer. Ensure solutions are consistent with Convergys� capabilities and technology direction. Must have strong project management skills in order to work with cross-functional teams and various Companies� IT organizations as well as other Convergys organizations and client IT departments. This position requires proactive intervention in discovering and implementing improvements to existing solutions as well as being aware of new technology and proactively finding opportunities to apply that technology to current and future business problems within client portfolios. Incumbent mentors junior solutions analysts and influences and drives �best practices� and process improvements. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Function as lead technical expert on highly complex solutions for client opportunities, implementations, and on-going support Responsible for technology life cycle. Design end-to-end technical solutions. Proactively recommend end-to-end technical solutions that bring together voice and data networking, application development, web technologies, computer telephony integration, and a variety of technical solutions technologies. Understand and communicate client business problems and needs to project teams. Participate in client-facing and Operations teams. Manage and monitor technical solutions across Corporate and Business Unit Technical Centers of Excellence, Presales, Implementations and On-going Production. Proactively recommend solutions for internal operations, client-facing services and new technology. Candidate Profile: Wide breadth of technology knowledge in the following fields is required: voice and data networking, Application Development, Web Technologies, Computer Telephony with an in-depth knowledge and expertise in at least one of the areas. Knowledge of Convergys service offerings from all perspectives (e.g., human resources, training, technology, etc.) and Convergys� organizational design with in depth knowledge of Convergys� technical capabilities and operations highly desirable. Knowledgeable of technical capabilities surrounding integration, direction and client interfaces as well as general industry knowledge (e.g., communications, financial, technology). Strong leadership ability for leading a team consisting of multiple disciplines, multiple organizations/resource units, and/or upper management team members. Skilled in serving as technical expert/advisor on projects from pre-sales to project approval through successful launch and on-going support. Experienced and highly skilled in client interfacing, Strong written, oral communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as well as interfacing, negotiation and team building skills. Ability to make decisions based on multiple criteria. Ability to work in an unstructured and fast paced self-directed environment. In depth understanding of requirements management and change management Skilled in using the appropriate subject matter experts to drive to issue and jeopardy resolution and sound decision-making in order to meet project success factors. Proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Note : Responsible for Infinys Solution Implementation Activity in N.A/EMEA/APAC regions - Strong domain knowledge on wireless/wireline/cable - Good communication skills - Willing to travel for 70% of the time.
