Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities Periodically review and update QA test procedures as and when necessary. 1. Regularly telecon with the QA team in the US to review projects, priority and status 2. Oversee all assigned QA projects progression and assigning the most appropriate personnel (skill-wise) for each activity. 3. Create, implement and update QA test procedure documentation. 4. Efficiently distribute test resources to ensure the team is sufficiently and competently staffed. 5. Generate and implement new and improved procedures for more effective and efficient testing of Client products. 6. Create and deliver timely, clearly written, accurate project test reports as requested by the Program Managers. 7. Assess and re-allocate available resources as necessary to meet priority project needs. 8. Mentor testers as needed to facilitate their growth within the dept and company infrastructure. 9. Track and evaluate the progress of each tester, and coach (technical or non technical), counsel, as necessary to assist each one reaching his/her full potential. Skills and Job Requirements: Sound knowledge of Intel and AMD PC/Server Architecture. - Should have strong background on storage technologies and networking concepts. - Sound knowledge of various BUS interfaces. (PCI/USB/SATA etc.) - Experience in BIOS or Firmware related testing including power management. (Black box Testing) - Comfortable on DOS, Windows and Server Operating Systems and setting up the platforms. - Hands on experience with various PC Hardware components assembly desired. - Knowledge of automated scripting languages like PERL/TCL/TK/WINRUNNER (optional). - Good software testing and test methodologies knowledge. (SDLC)
