We have Walkin Drive on 6th August 2016 for Specialist - Oracle DBA position. Timings: 9:30AM to 3:00 PM Venue: Sungard Availability Services Venkatadari IT Park, 3nd Floor, Konappana Agrahara Opp Ramkrishna Smart Hospital, Electronics City Phase 1, Bangalore 560100 Responsibilities Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Database software and related products Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle related products Build stand alone and cluster database Execute complex recoveries in DR Scenarios Identify the Gaps and provide documentation / suggestion faced during Execution Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures Take care of the Database design and implementation Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges) Implement Active Data Guard and High Availability Solutions for DR. Perform database tuning and performance monitoring Setup and maintain documentation and standards Plan growth and changes (capacity planning) Should provide 24X7 operation support Technical analysis and troubleshooting to fix the issue Patch Management and Version Control

Desired Profile :

Exp: 6 to 11 Years Title: Specialist - Database Administration (Oracle) Location: BANGALORE No of positions: 6 Title: Specialist Database Administration (Oracle) Location: BANGALORE REQUIREMENTS Experience At least 6 plus years of experience Oracle Database Administration Disaster Recovery experience is a plus. Desired Skills: Sound knowledge in installation and configuration of Oracle Enterprise Server software, Database upgrade as well as rollback planning Expertise in implementing/Configuring Oracle Grid/CRS, ASM, RAC technologies Significant knowledge of UNIX / LINUX/AIX/ Windows operating systems Experience with Setup and Maintain Oracle Dataguard for Disaster recovery Open to work on other databases (DB2, Sybase, MySQL etc.) Good Exposure of performance tuning and troubleshooting Database Recovery (Oracle 10g,11g,12c, RMAN, Data Guard, RAC) Good exposure to Oracle recoveries using RMAN / User Managed Backups Exposure to Backup Technology Recovery (TSM, Net-Backup, Commvault, DD, Backup Exec, Networker with focus on Databases) Must have the ability to analyze technical documentation and identify gaps/risks Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical skills is a MUST and ability to lead technical working sessions Good communication skill is must as the job involves frequent interaction with customers across the globe.
